We Support You and Your Families
The staff at Te Korowai Early Learning Centre are committed to supporting the children in our care and their families to settle into the centre environment. We will support you and your whānau/family to ensure that your child makes a happy transition into the centre environment, where they will want to learn and participate in all areas of the curriculum.
All families are required to complete the necessary enrolment and ‘all about me’ forms. These forms will provide important information about your child and will assist our staff with making your child feel more comfortable in the centre.
- We recommend you and your child to have two visits to the centre prior to your child starting at the centre to give you and your child an introduction to the Centre environment. One of your family members is expected to stay with the child during these visits.
- We understand that as a parent, you may be nervous about separating from your child. We are happy to discuss any question you have and are happy for you to check and follow-up on your child during the day with a phone call.
- Our children will be encouraged to participate in the activities and interact with other children.
- Please feel free to discuss any question you have with our staff.
